I must say i have not yet seen an authentic Eames House Bird by Vitra in person however, the quality of this piece is I am planning on purchasing more items from Kardiel soon( i cant wait to have an Eames style lounge chair) but i wanted to order something small and less expensive to test the quality of the manufacturer and the shipping Quality is great, i love the House Bird, beautiful lines, no scratches or The piece arrived on time in a box surrounded with styrofoam in the shape of the bird, leaving no room for moving or the price, half of what you would pay somewhere hope for other items by Kardiel make their way back to Amazon
